Dental Crowns
Full-coverage porcelain and zirconia crowns that rebuild worn, cracked or heavily filled teeth and bring them back in line with the rest of your smile.
Based in Brentwood & Burbank · Serving Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Glendale & PasadenaWhen a crown is the answer
A crown covers the whole tooth. It's the right choice when a tooth is cracked, worn down, weakened by a large filling, or has had a root canal. Where a veneer changes how a tooth looks, a crown also restores its strength.
Zirconia or porcelain
Zirconia is extremely strong and works well for back teeth and for people who grind. Layered porcelain gives the most lifelike translucency for front teeth. Many smiles use both, matched so the difference can't be seen.
Crowns in a makeover
Several crowns placed together can change the length, shape and line of a smile, and correct a bite at the same time. Dr. Naim's cases include a set of ten upper zirconia crowns used to fix a bite problem and raise the smile line.

About Dental Crowns
Will a crown look natural?
Yes. Crowns are shaded and shaped to match the teeth around them.
How long do crowns last?
Often 15 years or more with good care.
Crown or veneer?
A veneer covers the front of a healthy tooth. A crown covers and protects a damaged one. Your exam decides which is right.
Do crowns hurt?
The tooth is numbed for preparation. Most people feel only mild tenderness afterward.
